The state of Jammu and Kashmir has always remained disturbed. because of the roller coaster political turmoil that kept on coming too often. One such name is of the young screenwriter and filmmaker Tariq Bhat. He hails from the Valley and was known for his creativity, which brought him within the field of writing then made him a screenwriter.

Tariq Bhat headed to Mumbai and shortly got the prospect to figure for a movie called Zindagi Tumse as a screenwriter and a director in 2019. With this debut movie, he made headlines in B Town for giving a powerful story to the audience. He addressed a social issue of disowning parents and dumping them into adulthood homes by many young children, which won heart for his writing and filmmaking. He bagged a couple of awards getting different title awards for an equivalent . Since then it had been no looking back for the young man.
His next thriller movie is named Evil Dead which was released on OTT platform. it had been supported a Hollywood series with an equivalent title. Currently, he’s busy shooting for his maiden web series called Five as Same, which revolves around five common girls who are leading their lives to explore their own lives facing tough situations around their society. However, his dream project will come after this series called Welcome to Kashmir.

Tariq Bhat is an Indian film director and screenplay writer. He is a resident of Kashmir who is considered as one of the few people to break in to Bollywood. He has worked hard to promote cinema culture in Kashmir by organising movie screenings of his directorial debut film Zindagi Tumse (2019) producer Sona Manwani (Sona Enterprises) Cast Sadhna Singh, Guddi Maruti & Rajesh Puri. Zindagi Tumse is a woman oriented film based on social issue, which is a major concern for Indian families. The purpose of the film is to create awareness among public regarding hidden illness of society such as parents in Old age homes. In the initial years of his career, he wrote the screenplay for ‘Hum Sab Ullu Hain (2015) Cast Upasna Singh, Rakesh Bedi, Guddi Maruti, Dinesh Hingoo, Rajesh Puri, VIP comedian & Gavie Chahal. He is also associated with a few video shorts.
