From A Small Town, To Big Things
Dr. Matthew Kasiar was born and raised in southern Illinois. He was the youngest of three children. His dad was a pharmacist and owned and operated a small pharmacy in their hometown. Dr. Kasiar developed a love for the healthcare industry from being around his dad growing up. Dr. Kasiar’s love of design and healthcare led him into the field of dentistry where he excelled as a student graduating with honors. Over the past 14 years Dr. Kasiar has been blessed to help many patients get the smile they’ve always wanted.
Smile Consultations From Anywhere
Although his practice is in Nashville, TN, Dr. Kasiar is able to work with people all over the country remotely. He accomplishes this with virtual smile consultations. With just two submitted photos, Dr. Kasiar can get a personal consultation video for a client within 1 week, where he’ll walk them through a plan for treatment options and their cost.
Dr. Kasiar believes that his clients trusting him is key, and being transparent is at the forefront of that. “Patients want to know who they can trust, how long it will take, and how much it will cost,” he says. All of these questions are answered with Dr. Kasiar’s virtual consultation.
Dealing With Competition
In order for his company to stand out from the crowd, Dr. Kasiar places huge emphasis on customer service. “I feel like the healthcare industry as a whole lacks quality customer service,” he says. At hs practice, they pride themselves on making sure patients feel like patients and not just another person coming through the door. “We make each patient feel like they are the only one there. We are 100% focused on their needs and go above and beyond to exceed expectations. They aren’t just patients, they are our family,” states Dr. Kasiar.
Dr. Kasiar believes treating each patient in a unique way based on their individual needs is an important part of providing quality customer service to his patients. This is evidenced by his high number of happy clients with beautiful smiles.
What It’s Like to Be An Entrepreneur Dentist
Dr. Kasiar says “the biggest challenge of entrepreneurship is deciding to take action on your dream. “There are a lot of great dreams and ideas out there that never make it to reality. Most often it’s because of the fear of failing. I say that because I was fearful too. But I knew I would always wonder ‘what if’ if I never tried,” Dr. Kasiar states.
In conclusion, he goes on to add that having the right mindset is just as important as, saying “If you go into business with a negative attitude, you will get negative results.” Problems will inevitably come up, but keeping that positive attitude will help you work through them.
