Dewayne Hamlin, founder of GNG Athletics is impacting communities

New York city, the home of the Mecca of street basketball. Everyone with dreams and desire to make it far in their lives and careers. One key component to making it far is working hard on your personal craft so that one day it can be recognized and be made possible to accomplish. Working hard on and off the court is Dewayne Hamlin, who’s spent many years playing in the asphalts of NYC, to professional basketball, to now being the founder of his own organization.

Teaching others it’s what Hamlin is all about. Focusing on player enhancement and growth with the fundamentals of the game. He’s a current 6 year professional basketball player who has played in leagues in the United States, leading as example for youth and adults chasing their goals in life to follow. Also known for hitting the street ball scene, where he has also made a credibility on the courts of New York city which is the Mecca of the world when it comes to street basketball.

In 2020, many faced hard times especially in the mind and spirit. But many took advantage of the time to build and grow to become better with lifetime achievements. Hamlin created something that would change lives forever when he introduced GNG Athletics to the world. The foundation provides inner city youth and adults with the opportunity to improve their games and work on life skills. The foundation is currently in New York city, and growing to parts of the east coast and Latin America. Overseas it’s partnering with the Dudo Baez foundation in the Dominican Republic where his services will also be provided and make a difference for those in the 3rd world countries.

We all need motivation in life, and what better way we can live by that example but by motivating others. The goal in life is to help people, and what better way it can be when they’re helped in multitudes. Dewayne Hamlin is living an impact in many lives with this program, and looks forward to continue his outreach this year 2021. The goal is to have a safe environment for others to partake of and grow along with the process. Whether it’s playing basketball, coaching or teaching the game, GNG Athletics is they’re to support anyone who’s needs guidance in their lives.
